Travel through finest sights of India and Nepal in this tour
Begin your tour in India by visiting stunning array of some of North India’s finest sights; Delhi, the Taj Mahal, the extraordinary temples of Khajuraho, the holiest city of Varanasi, and then take a spectacular flight across the Himalayas, arriving the Kingdom of Nepal where there is plenty of time to explore the capital and its surroundings before moving on to search for rhino and elusive tigers of the famous Royal Chitwan National Park. A final, peaceful day in the beautiful Pokhara Valley allows time to reflect on all that this tour of Nepal has revealed.

DAY 1 ARRIVE DELHI On arrival stay at The Oberoi Hotel, your luxury hotel for two nights.
DAY 2 DELHI After a leisurely start, your tour begins with a drive through the wide boulevards and grand monuments of Lutyens’ New Delhi, and touring the narrow streets of Old Delhi to see its many fascinating monuments.
DAY 3 DELHI – AGRA Very early morning train to Agra. On arrival stay 1 night at the sumptuous Oberoi Amarvilas, with its exceptional views of the Taj Mahal. Then proceed to nearby Fatehpur Sikri, a magnificent deserted city, originally built by Akbar as his capital. After lunch tour Agra Fort before visiting the glorious Taj Mahal at sunset.
DAY 4 AGRA – JHANSI – ORCHHA Early morning train to Jhansi and drive to Orchha for 2 nights at the Amar Mahal Hotel. Spend the day exploring the fort and the stunning hilltop and riverside temples that dominate this small town of India.
DAY 5 ORCHHA Travel by road to the beautiful 17th century palace at Datia. Continue your tour to the fine Jain Temples at Sonagir which are reached by a long flight of steps.
DAY 6 ORCHHA – KHAJURAHO Morning travel by road to Khajuraho. Stay 1 night at the Lalit Temple View Hotel. Afternoon explore the extraordinary Chandela Temples scattered around the town, which date back to the 10th and 11th centuries.
DAY 7 KHAJURAHO – VARANASI Morning at leisure. Afternoon flight to Varanasi and stay 2 nights at The Gateway Hotel. Afternoon tour of Sarnath, where Gautama Buddha preached his first sermon.

DAY 8 VARANASI Morning tour of what is considered to be one of India’s oldest and holiest cities. Afternoon at leisure.
DAY 9 VARANASI – KATHMANDU Early morning boat ride on the holiest river of India – The Ganges. Early afternoon flight across the Himalayas to Kathmandu in Nepal. 2 nights stay at Dwarika’s Hotel.
DAY 10 KATHMANDU Morning tour of the city, seeing Swayambunath and the heart of the ‘old town’. After lunch explore the sights of the Kathmandu Valley, including Bhaktapur and the stupa at Boudhnath.
DAY 11 KATHMANDU – MEGHAULI – CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK Morning flight to Meghauli and drive to Chitwan. 2 nights stay at Tiger Tops, deep in the heart of the park. Afternoon game drive either by jeep or on elephant-back.
DAY 12 CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK Early morning and afternoon game drives, searching for wildlife and hopefully to spot a tiger.
DAY 13 CHITWAN – POKHARA Morning travel by road to Pokhara which is surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks. Stay 1 night at the Shangri-La Village. Afternoon at leisure or optional excursions.
DAY 14 POKHARA – KATHMANDU – DELHI Morning flight to Kathmandu and then travel by air to Delhi. Room at disposal at the Taj Palace Hotel until late tonight. After dinner, depart for the airport.
DAY 15 DEPART DELHI Early morning departure for onward destination.
