DAY 1 ARRIVE DELHI On arrival stay at The Oberoi Hotel.
DAY 2 DELHI After a leisurely start, spend the day discovering old and New Delhi exploring the contrasts between the Moghul and British capitals.
DAY 3 DELHI – AGRA Morning travel by road to Agra and check into ITC Mughal Hotel. Afternoon visit the world’s most famous token of love, the magnificent Taj Mahal. You will also visit the impressive Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-daulah tomb.
DAY 4 AGRA – GWALIOR Morning travel by road to Gwalior and check into Taj Usha Kiran Palace. Gwalior is situated at the geographical and historical crossroads of India with its immense shining fortress. Built on the site of a 5th Century temple of the sun, the fort embraces temples, palaces and mosques, a full afternoon’s sight-seeing.
DAY 5 GWALIOR – JHANSI – KHAJURAHO Morning transfer to Gwalior railway station for train journey to Jhansi. On arrival transfer by road to Khajuraho and check into The Lalit Temple View Hotel. Rest of day at leisure.
DAY 6 KHAJURAHO The temples of Khajuraho provide an entertaining and instructive morning’s viewing, for all human life is depicted here showing the beliefs that there is no superiority between the physical and spiritual aspects of existence.
DAY 7 KHAJURAHO – ORCHHA Morning travel by road to the medieval riverside city, Orchha and check into Orchha Resorts Hotel. In the afternoon sightseeing you will visit some of the numerous historical palaces, pavilions, lodges and temples of India.

DAY 8 ORCHHA – JHANSI – BHOPAL Morning travel by road to Jhansi railway station for a train journey to Bhopal. On arrival transfer to Jehan Numa Palace. Afternoon city tour.
DAY 9 BHOPAL – SANCHI – BHOPAL Morning excursion to Sanchi. Afternoon excursion to Bhimbetka the site of south Asia’s richest collection of prehistoric cave paintings.
DAY 10 BHOPAL – UJJAIN – INDORE Morning depart for a long drive to Indore, en route travel to Ujjain, once an important trade centre of India and still one of the holiest pilgrimage centres for Hindus. On arrival check into Fortune Landmark. Rest of the day at leisure.
DAY 11 INDORE Discover this liberal city containing the extraordinary Kanch Mandir, a Jain temple of mirrors. Rest of day at leisure.
DAY 12 INDORE – OMKARESHWAR – MAHESHWAR Morning travel by road for a fascinating drive full of historic sights such as Omkareshwar a sacred Hindu island. On arrival check into Ahilya Fort. Rest of day at leisure.
DAY 13 MAHESHWAR – MANDU – MAHESHWAR A full day in exploring the fortress town of Mandu, replete with palaces, mosques, canals and cenotaphs.
DAY 14 MAHESHWAR – INDORE – MUMBAI Morning at leisure. Later transfer to Indore airport for Mumbai, on arrival transfer to ITC Grand Maratha Sheraton for dinner before international departure.
DAY 15 DEPART MUMBAI Early morning departure for onward destination.
