Mr Cambata’s message
With an ever-developing infrastructure, travelling independently in the Subcontinent is easy and fun. This brochure is designed to give you several enticing suggestions of just how much there is to see and do in this great country, no matter how many times you may have been before.
These suggested itineraries have been carefully and thoughtfully constructed so as to maximise your time in each place and to minimise the amount of time spent ‘on the road’. We believe they give an excellent and comprehensive introduction to each area. Travelling in a private car with a driver, you have the freedom to explore in your own time and in your own way, stopping where and when you wish. You may design your own itinerary which is totally personalised to you or you may follow one of our suggested itineraries outlined in the following pages. There are also several ideas for ‘staying on’ and other more specialised activities. Each and any of these ideas can be worked into or added onto the end of our featured itineraries. We have a large network of regional offices around the country and in each city you visit, you will be greeted by one of our representatives and there will be local guides accompanying you to each site and to guide you through its particular idiosyncrasies.
India is a demanding destination,
because it is so different. So many languages and
dialects, so many traditions and customs, so many
people and religions. And intertwined amidst all this,
a kaleidoscope of color and festivals, perfumes and
aromas, cuisine and costume can be found.

cities; that is no way to measure the rhythm of a
country, so road and rail play their part too. We
honestly think that balancing all these factors is one
of the keys to a rewarding holiday in India.
