DAY 2
Today you will explore the city of Delhi, visiting the Red Fort, Chandni Chowk and Jama Masjid, with the opportunity to walk through the streets with your guide. New Delhi is a fascinating contrast in its British designed architecture and avenues.

DAY 3
Travel overland to Agra and check in at The Oberoi Amarvilas Hotel, where your room windows will give you your first glimpse of the ethereal Taj Mahal.

DAY 4
This morning, enjoy your first visit to the Taj Mahal, continuing on to the massive Agra Fort and the intimate and serene Itmad-ud-Daulah. The rest of the day is yours to relax by the pool, read or enjoy your surroundings.

DAY 5
Today you set out overland for Jaipur, stopping en-route to visit the perfectly preserved and abandoned Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar the Great’s capital in homage to the Sufi Saint, Salim Chisti. Arriving in Jaipur, you check in at the award winning Oberoi Rajvilas Hotel.

DAY 6
This morning you visit the Amber Fort on elephant back, high above the town. Later you will explore the Pink City of Jaipur touring the City Palace and the fascinating outdoor Jantar Mantar Observatory. Visit The Albert Hall Museum and drive past the Palace of Winds. A car and driver are at your disposal for the remainder of the day for shopping or whatever you choose within the city.

DAY 8
This morning, a tour of the lake city of Udaipur will reveal a traditional Rajput town that is picturesque. This lakeside town has many treasures and palaces including the imposing City Palace, the Crystal Gallery, the Jagdish temple and the Monsoon Palace.

DAY 9
After a relaxing morning, fly to Mumbai and check in at The Oberoi Hotel. The late afternoon and evening is free to enjoy the fabulous view of the Arabian Sea and the shopping arcade or spa.

DAY 10
Today, your tour of India’s commercial capital will include The Prince of Wales Museum, The Gateway of India, the Hanging Gardens and Gandhi’s residence.

DAY 11
You check out at noon and proceed to your onward destination.
